I challenge YOU !

Okay, before I even start my Monday post, I absolutely NEED to show you this. I JUST found it while I was looking through a few different website. I haven't tried it yet, but I will be this afternoon. Watch this ! The video is only 58 seconds long, so you definitely have time to check it out !

Whoa ! Amazing right ? Please say I am not the last person on earth to see this video. I LOVE boiled eggs, but those suckers are hard to peel ! This video will definitely increase the amount of eggs I intake. Thank you youtube !

Alright, so now that I (or that video) has made your Monday a little brighter, I want to throw a challenge your way !

Challenge : Make someone's Monday a happy one.
By this I mean, do a good deed, for someone else. It doesn't matter if it's helping someone with they grocery bags, doing a bigger than normal favour for a friend, or telling someone who doesn't often hear that they are appreciated more than they know.

You and I both know it doesn't take a million dollar check (yes, it may help, but stay on track) to brighten someone's day, sometimes all it takes are a few kind words.
So if it's this simple, then the question stands : Why don't we do it all the time ? Answer - Well, we are all guilty of being selfish sometimes, it's normal, we are human. But make today different. Do something nice for someone, it really doesn't take much ! You'll see, it will even make your day better ! I'm a strong believer in karma (isn't everyone?) so for today, treat everyone as you would want to be treated.

Here is what C.A.P did for this challenge. 3 Simple things. But hopefully they made someone smile.

1 - Remember those cupcakes we made last week ? We decided to deliver some to friends and family around town.

2 - This morning C.A.P painted a lovely painting for the mailman. I wrote this note on it...(the "a" is suppose to be "as". Dear spelling - why are we enemies? Changed that one after ;)

We then added a yummy chocolate bar to the mix, made it fancy and left the package in the mailbox for him to get when he drops off our mail this morning :)

3 - Now, I heard of lots of people doing this around town, and I always think it is so thoughtful and kind. C.A.P and I often stop at Tim Hortons to get a coffee (or 2) for me and a timbit for him (his favourite treat. I hear "PEESE MAMA" every time we drive by. Uh oh). Anyway this morning I decided to participate in the little pay it forward/act of kindness, for the lady behind us. We bought her the coffee she ordered :)

So there you have it, our challenge is complete...for today ! I really hope you take part as well! Remember it doesn't have to cost you anything, kind words are more important than a material object. Or...well, at least they SHOULD be.

Before I go, I just wanted to note that for the next few weeks I will be posting on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday instead of everyday except Saturday. Reason is, that the Mr. and I recently purchased a new house (SO. EXCITED) and we move in at the end of this month. Yes between Christmas and New Years. (I mean why wouldn't anyone want to pack up their lives, move and unpack again, during the busiest time of the year?*insert sarcasm if you missed that one*) Anyway long story short, I have LOTS to do before, during and after the move, so I thought this may give me a bit more time to do what needs to be done !  I'm so very sorry about this news, I truly hope you still come back and read my blog every other day (for now), I really appreciate it !
