I'm so excited about the new look and the official removal of the top blogger bar ! Yippee !
Alright short story time.
Every morning I read the daily post from "I am momma hear me roar" (Please check this lady's blog out. Everything from kids crafts, DIYs, sewing, challenges, etc.etc.etc. I could go on forever, Cheri has it all ! She is an amazing blogger. Oh and you can also check her out on the Martha Stewart show at the end of January :) Anyway when I first started my blog I had a million and 1 questions with no one to answer them. So after finding "I am momma hear me roar" blog, I took a chance and sent Cheri an email asking her a few questions as I knew she was obviously a pro at this blogging thing - having almost 8000 followers and all. (A-freaking-mazing right?)
I was surprised and excited to see she wrote me back the same day ! Oh and bonus - she was so friendly AND she answered all my questions ! ( Ya ! - Thank you Cheri :)
Okay, okay, back on track - long story short, I found out about Erika "The Fairy Blogmother" through Cheri. She told me she had a blog designer and I was eager to learn more about this ! ("A blog designer, what ? Sounds important - I want one." Was actually my first thought.) So off went the email to Erika !
From start to finish it took a little over a week to get my "new" blog up and running. Erika is a great gal, easy to work with, quick at responding to emails and very affordable ! I highly recommend working with her if you are a really into this blogging "thang" !

She also has a personal blog called "Oops, I craft my pants" that I had to add in here, as the title of it is absolutely hilarious. (I swear I chuckle every time I read it)
Thank you Erika for making me feel all warm and fuzzy about my new blog look !

ReplyDeleteAnd, I gotta say...Everything you said about Cheri is so true! She is so great. I love that she is a big name blogger, but doesn't act like she is. She's still as down to earth as ever!

The Letter to your teenage self was great Ash!! Made me tear up (well not hard to do - but still!) Love the lamps!!! We are looking for new bedside lamps actually as I broke our glass shade.....hmmmm DM for hire?!?
