Another mini project. love. love. love.
Although I could work on mini projects all day, everyday, I should need to start focusing on bigger things. Oh, like perhaps unpacking the last boxes. Yes, after 2 plus months of being moved, I still have boxes to unpack - stop the judging you !
No guilt here though, because this mini project was done by the one and only - my Mr.
I found the items I needed, told him my vision and he made it happen.
Homemade earring holders are all the rage right now.
So here is my version !
This was my earring's home before :
bags, bags and more bags.
We used a piece of 16 by 20 sheet of press board we had around the house.
I painted it with this :
I found these handles for 99 cents each at this amazing liquidation store just a ways out of town. Steal of a deal if you ask me.
The Mr. screwed them in and voila - complete.
Didn't he do a great job, I mean look at that line up !
(100 bucks he is smiling at that above line - he was pretty proud of how straight he lined those babies up - thumbs up.)
An off topic PS- we were watching "The inside man" with Denzel, just before taking this picture - maybe the masked charaters were my insipration for the Mr.'s face-less photo ? Great. movie.
The whole thing cost 8 dollars.
Keep in mind we already had the wood and paint.
The top two handles are for my stud earrings.
I've decided to add some material and or ribbon - but this will be for a another day. focus.on.big.projects.now.
Hope you enjoyed my version of this project !
Thanks for stopping in - Post ya Friday
Bye.Cya
